Hello!!

It's been a couple of months since I've posted anything. We have been busy! My son, Carter was playing baseball on a tournament team & we had games almost every weekend. Now we are playing league ball! Emma is taking dance & we are gearing up for her recital in June! And I have to find time to work in the midst of all this craziness!! We are great, happy & healthy & tired!!

Life's craziness

I have been having lots of crazy stuff going on in my life....my mom had a bilateral mastectomy in August and has been undergoing chemotherapy....my step father got put into a nursing homlast week....I had a breast lump removed last week-everything is fine. I'm really wishing for the boring, non chaotic life I had at one time!

Thankfully I have a job, as does my husband!! And, my children are healthy! I have tons of things to be thankful for!!

MOPS meeting today

My MOPS (moms of preschoolers) group meets for the first time this year today. I am the speaker coordinator this year, so I am a "leader!" Looking forward to it! Have a great day!

Swine Flu!!!

This H1N1 business is getting out of control...it seems like it is EVERYWHERE!! That being said, I am bringing my kids to get their flu vaccines today. It won't protect them from H1N1, but I figured it definitely couldn't hurt!!

Both of my kids got the FluMist last year. I'm all about no shots for the kiddos!! I feel like it held up to the true test, also. My husband had the flu & my kids never got it!! Works for me!!

Bible Study this Summer!!

I'm so excited to do an online bible study this summer. It is through the Living Proof Ministries Blog. It is w/ Beth Moore & her daughters & it looks like it is really going to be a great study & a lot of fun!!

Jedi Camp this week!

My son is a HUGE Star Wars fan. We have a Jedi Camp down the street that lasts a week & he started yesterday. He had a ball. He is on the Sith team, which he loves!! Emma & I ran errands while he was at camp. Of course, she fell asleep in the car & I was almost late picking him up b/c I was wasting time driving around!!

I went to a Pampered Chef party last night. It was lots of fun. It reminded me of all the Pampered Chef stuff I've bought over the years. I need to use some of it!!

Another day in Paradise!!

We mainly just stayed home today, until about 2pm! For some reason, I just couldn't get it together enough to leave my house today!! We went to Emma's eye doctor's office to have her glasses adjusted, and she fell asleep shortly after we left there. On the way home we got Carter some ice cream (Emma's idea-poor baby was asleep!) We are getting ready to go to the gym now. I'm meeting Ricky (DH) there.
